A year ago, the Marshall track and field team brought just two athletes to the state championship meet. But after Day 2 of the Section 2AA championship meet, the Tigers will bring seven athletes to the state's biggest meet as Sarah Buysse, Sarah Andersen, the girls' 4x800-meter relay team and Beau Bofferding each qualified for state on Friday at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
