Woodbury junior Abiola Abodunde led the way for the Royals at the Section 4AA Championships held last week at Stillwater High School qualifying for state in three events – the triple jump, the 400-meter relay and 1600-meter relay. For Royals fans, it was a great day at the track. The Woodbury boys and girls track and field teams are sending five individuals and two relay teams to the 2012 Minnesota State Track and Field meet this year. (via )

After winning at least two of their last five meets, three relay teams from East Ridge High School’s girls track and field team will compete at the Minnesota State High School League Class AA state meet Friday and Saturday at Hamline University in St. Paul. (via )
