In the 3200m. Each team will be allowed 2 entries unless additional entries and the first 2 athletes all meet the following standards: Girls 12:30/Boys 10:20 Entry Fee: The entry for this meet is $200.00 per school when both or one gender attends. Please arrange to have payment sent to the Lakeville North Activities Department ASAP. Entry Process: For entries go to http://fastfinishresults.com/ Please follow all directions carefully. Final entries are due on Wednesday, April 18th at 8:00am. We will prepare heat/flight sheets and send copies to coaches for their reviewal by Thursday at 12:00 noon. There will be no changes/additions on meet day-only scratches. Awards: Lakeville North Mega Meet t-shirts to athletes and relay teams in places 1-3. These are nice, quality moisture wicking shirts. Plaques for Track and Field Athletes of the Meet presented at the conclusion of the meet. Coaches please stop by the press box at the conclusion of the meet for full results. Relay (2 Sections) 8:45 Boys 4x400m. Relay (2 Sections) Important Points: 1. Long Jump and Triple Jump periods will be strictly adhered to. Please make sure to instruct your athletes to make sure they get their jumps in. 2. We will use a 10 min. rule for excusing athletes from field events to running events. Athletes who need to leave for running events are required to check out with the field event, who will note the check out time on the clipboard. 3. Coaches are asked to come up to the press box immediately upon arriving at the stadium. Any scratches will be done at this time. 4. We will use fully automatic timing for this meet. Results will be posted on our result boards at the front of the stadium after each event. Final meet results will also be emailed to coaches on Saturday. Copies of meet results will be available in the press box at the conclusion of the 4x400m. 5. Will we be live-streaming the entire meet courtesy if Ihigh.com. Ihigh is bringing in a camera crew to cover all events. Let your parents and athletes know that family members outstate can watch the meet live. Go to our website - http://lakevillenorthtrack.org 6. All team camps are to be outside the track area. Please have your team cleanup at the conclusion of the meet. We will open the areas below the bleachers for inclement weather. 7. Instruct your athletes to listen to the P.A. announcer and to the calls given for each event. We will adhere to the time schedule unless inclement weather necessitates moving ahead of schedule. Instruct your athletes to report to the clerking area (north end zone) upon hearing the first call for their running event. Field Event Scratches and check-ins are done at the event area. 8. The Lakeville North Track and Field Boosters will be hosting a concession stand. Please inform your athletes. 9. Meet Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for both relays and individual events. 10. Only meet workers allowed in the press box. 11. Rain date: In the event of inclement weather, we have established Monday, April 23rd as the make up date for this meet. If at all possible we will go ahead with the meet to avoid having to postpone. 12. We will be charging admission for this meet: Adults $5.00, Students/Seniors $3.00. Children under 10 free. Please inform your parents and spectators. 13. Concessions will be available with a wide variety of food and beverages. 14. Moisture wicking t-shirts will be available for sale. 15. LNHS Facilities: Lakeville North Stadium has undergone major renovations in recent years. New field turf inside the oval, polyurethane track and jumping areas, including a new high jump area in the North End Zone. As in past seasons we will utilize our Finish Lynx F.A.T. system to produce times readable to 1/1000’s of a second in the event of close races. New this year - All finish times and places will be displayed on our new state of the art scoreboard. It will show all places and FAT results – 1st-4th, 5th-8th, and team scores throughout the meet.
