Distance: High School: 5,000 meters - Boys & Girls Competitions
Entry: If you did not attend the 2013 Griak, you must email Sarah Hopkins (hess0125@umn.edu) if you intend to enter in 2014.
Registration: You will need a password to register. Go to http://www.raceberryjam.com/hscconlineentry.php and enter your email address. Please allow a day or two to get the password. After you have received your password go to the above site and enter your roster. Entries (rosters) are due by midnight on Thursday, September 18. You will be charged a late fee of $100/day after the September 18 deadline. REMEMBER: You are only allowed ten (10) entries. The substitution of athletes will be allowed at the packet pick-up table. You will be able to make as many changes as you need to up until 2:00 pm. on race day.
Entry Fee: $150 (per gender). NO REFUNDS. Entry fee may be mailed to the address below. Check payable to University of Minnesota. Individual runners fee will be $30.00.

Course Inspection:
Friday, September 26 2:00 to 6:00 pm and 8:00 a.m. till race time on Saturday. Course will be marked with painted lines and directional signage. Large course maps will be posted at awards stand.
Race Packets:
Pick up packets from 2:30 - 5:00 pm Friday, September 26 or 11:00 am 2:30 pm Saturday, September 27, at the clubhouse. Packets will NOT be given out if your entry fee has not been paid!!! Please bring correct change. Each packet will include chips, race numbers, pins, and a meet program.
Chip Timing:
Will be used again for all races. Lynx back-up will be used. Wear bib numbers on front. Each coach is responsible for ALL the chips that are assigned to their team. They should be returned to the chip tent (west of the finish corral). Your school will be charged for any unreturned chips.
Meet Results:
Unofficial results will be posted on the Awards Stand board, available as soon as they are tallied and recorded. Official results will be produced and available in Driving Range Building. You will also be able to obtain official results at www.gophersports.com.

Award ceremony for the Maroon and Gold competitions will be held at the Awards area. Please be on time!!!!

Parking
Team vans: Gibbs Farm Lot and Robbie Soccer Stadium. Go 1 block east of the course take a left enter parking lot for Gibbs Farm/Soccer Stadium. Back up location remaining spots in the Golf Course Main Lot.
Team Busses: Parking will be in Parking Lot 55 on the St. Paul Campus. Drop team off at the golf course. Continue West on Larpenteur Ave. take a left on Eustis St.; left on Como Ave. right into Gate 24 for Lot 55.
Admission Fee:
The University will be charging $8 entry fee for adults and $5 for students/youth/seniors (62 & above). Kids age 2 & under are free. The official Griak Invitational program can be purchased for $2.
Spectator Parking
S101 (on the corner of Cleveland and Commonwealth) and the Gortner Ave. Ramp. Shuttles will transport to the golf course. Park at your own risk on the city streets.
Clocks
Display clocks at mile and 3K for the Womens and High School races.

Trainers will be at the course on the day of the race. Doctors will be on call. EMT on site. Click here for the letter to athletic trainers. MEDICAL INFORMATION should be readily available on all your athletes - allergies, medical conditions, etc., & parental releases to treat.

Please have your team stay off the greens. No team tents on fairways.
The National Anthem will be sung at 8:55 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The course is clearly marked in alleys-White
Display clocks at 1K, mile and 3K for the Womens and High School Races.

Wear bib numbers on front.
Please have runners run over the chip mats keep moving through the chute to the back
No dogs or other pets are allowed on the Golf Course Grounds. No bikes or wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs and baby strollers) are allowed on the Golf Course Grounds.
A university vendor will be selling food and beverages to spectators and athletes
NO shower facilities will be provided!
