The skinny: Maple Grove will be the favorite heading into this race, but they will need to keep an eye out for Armstrong, who isn't far behind, and was only 5 points behind them 2 weeks ago at the Osseo Invite. Tom Breuckman will be the slight favorite in the individual competition, but Ben Olson has just as good of chance to win, as he has also ran sub 16 this season. The Elk River Golf Club provides runners with a challenging course that features numerous rolling hills on a soft terrain, but still produces fast times, as Alex Miley ran 15:45 here last year.

The skinny: Andover will be the slight favorite going in, but Maple Grove isn't too far behind, just 20 points off them in the virtual meet. However, the individual race may be as close as it gets. The top 5 individuals have just 3 seconds inbetween their PR's. Although Gabby Bolcer holds the fastest PR with 19:34, Elizabeth Vanloon is the defending champion, so she will definitely be one to really watch for. If all these runners are feeling healthy, we could be in for a crazy finishing sprint at the end of this race.
