Why: I was looking for a school in the South Eastern part of the
United States for the climate and the excellent SEC atmosphere and competition.
The University of Georgia women's track team finished 2nd last year at the
NCAA's; dominating in the field events and sprints. However, the middle
distance and distance athletes are certain to be more prominent this year,
considering their 17th place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. I
am thrilled to be able to be apart of such a strong, talented team.
