The Skinny: Despite some recurring injury problems, Wayzata's Grant Price will be the favorite going into this historic race at Marshfield. With a 15:45 PR, and the fact that he's the defending champion, it's hard to see Price going down on Saturday, but there are a few guys who could give him a run for his money, such as his teammate Andrew Brandt, and Stillwater's Addison Stansbury, who is coming off of an extremely stellar track season. (4:19 1600, 9:27 3200) The weather forecast doesn't look to be too bad, with reasonable temperatures just in the high 60s, but the projected high humidity could definitely play a factor, but nonetheless, we should see some fast times with talent that we have in the field. As for the team competition, it's hard to see anyone taking down Wayzata, as the virtual meet has them easily winning the competition by 30 points over Stillwater. Stillwater was ranked third in the state in the preseason polls, so this will be an early opportunity for them to prove they belong with the best in the state by even finishing close to Wayzata.
