BOYS TEAM CHAMP: FARIBAULT | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Kevin Turlington, Rochester Lourdes, 16:58.5
RECAP: Team winner Faribault packed it up and ran away from the field for the win. The Falcons put five across in the top 11 over just a 20 second split and 17:17 average, a really good result as we edge closer to conference meet week. Rochester Lourdes sophomore Kevin Turlington took the victory in 16:58. in a close finish over Pine Island junior Tanner Horton and Waseca senior Eli Johannsen who rounded out the top three individuals.
GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: WASECA | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Natasha Sortland, Zumbrota-Mazeppa/Kenyon-Wanamingo, 18:11.7
RECAP: Waseca took home the team title by single point over second place Faribault. Waseca's advantage came at the front led by runner-up and emerging freshman talent Ella Dufault, currently ranked no. 8 in the Class AA coaches poll. In the best performance of the day in any race, Z-M/K-W freshman and Class A no. 1 Natasha Sortland streaked to an 18:11.7 individual win that is currently the third fastest all-class time of the year in Minnesota.

BOYS TEAM CHAMP: BUFFALO | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Nick Oak, Buffalo, 16:20.5
RECAP: Buffalo dominated their home meet with an impressive 23 point score with a split under a minute. Bison senior Nick Oak, who has been in and out of the MNXCCA coaches class AA rankings all season, dominated the field as well with a 33 second win on his home turf at Buffalo Heights GC. After runner-up, Jordan senior Symon Keiser and third place Rockford senior Nels Trandahl a pack of five Buffalo runners rolled through between 17:10 and 17:29.
GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: MINNETONKA | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Kate LeBlanc, Minnetonka, 19:08.5
RECAP: MNXCCA no. 5 Minnetonka took the dominant team win with the first four individual finishers led by sophomore Kate LeBlanc in 19:08. The Skippers averaged a 19:33 with all five runners in the top nine overall. Monticello was team runner-up and Buffalo eighth grader Brooklyn Hart was the first runner across after the Minnetonka pack, finishing fifth with a 19:38.5.
A BOYS TEAM CHAMP: PROCTOR | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Cameron Stocke, Virginia, 16:32.5
RECAP: Proctor was victorious in the class A boys varsity competition on the strength of a 55 second split. The Rails ran five in the top 21 scorers to edge runner-up Ely by just three points. Ely had a 16 second advantage in team average but their split of over 2:30 erased the Timberwolves lead at the front. Virginia freshman Cameron Stocke won in 16:32 about 15 seconds ahead of runner-up, Ely senior Luke Olson.
A GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: INTERNATIONAL FALLS | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Keegan Mcauliffe, Marshall School, 19:42.1
RECAP: International Falls took home the team victory in the class A girls competition based on the best fifth finisher in the race. Duluth Marshall School sophomore Keegan Mcauliffe won individually in 19:42.1, nearly a minute ahead of runner-up International Falls sophomore Ryan Ford. Proctor was team runner-up as the only team with two runners in the top ten, giving them a one point advantage over third place Ely.
AA BOYS TEAM CHAMP: CLOQUET | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Isaac Fink, Duluth Denfeld, 17:09.3
RECAP: Cloquet all five scorers in the top seven on the way to a win with a slim 22 point score. Duluth Denfeld junior Isaac Fink won the individual title followed by a trio of runners from Cloquet led by sophomore Cale Prosen who was second. Duluth East was second with a narrow 42 second split and four in the top 14.
AA GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: HIBBING | INDIVIDUAL WINNER: Harmony Tracy, Cloquet, 20:49.5
RECAP: Class AA Girls winner Hibbing tucked all five scorers in the top 14 with a 21:52 average. Individual winner, Cloquet sophomore Harmony Tracy led her team to a third place finish behind the team runner-up, Duluth East who was led by junior Crystal Kaczmarczyk who was second individually.
