Sydney Drevlow comes into her eighth-grade season with the best eighth-grade time in the nation and the 18th best time in the nation for sophomores, freshman, and middle schoolers nationally. She will look to break into the elite national group of runners and improve on her fifth-place finish at the Class AA state championship and her ninth-place finish at NXN Heartland. Last year's Class AA state championship runner-up Abbey Nechanicky is also back and will look to challenge senior Analee Weaver (Stillwater) for the state title.
