Notable Marks

Pine Islands Jarod White jumped 16' 0" to move into 3rd place all-time for Minnesota boys pole vaulters. 

Saint Michael-Albertville's Ali Weimer ran a 10:33.32 3200m at the Section 5AA Championships to set a new section meet record there. The old record was 10:49.22 by Lisa Waananen

Stillwaters Analee Weaver set a new Section 4AA record in the 3200m with a time of 10:34.22 to beat the old record of 10:35.85 held by Shaelyn Sorenson.

Concordia Academy's Shaina Zinter set new meet records in the 100m and 300m hurdles at the Section 4A championships. Her time of 14.68 in the 100m hurdles broke the old section record of 14.96. Her time of 43.10 in the 300m hurdles broke the old section record of 44.62. Her time of 43.10 in the 300m hurdles, move her into the top ten all-time for Minnesota Girls. She is in 10th place now just behind Gina Dare. Her mark in the long jump of 18' 7.75" is also a top 30 mark all-time. 

Annandale's Nyalaam Jok continues to impress. She matched her season-best in the high jump with a jump of 5' 10" that is tied for 6th all-time among Minnesota girls. Even more impressive though is that she set a huge PR in the long jump with a jump of 19' 5". That mark puts her 5th all-time among Minnesota girls and was a 9.75 inch PR.
