Minnesota Adds Immense Talent with In-State Recruits

Ramy Ayoub was the king of the mid-distance in Minnesota this year running state-best times in the 400m (48.13) and 800m (1:52.54). Ayoub was the runner-up at state this last year in the 400m and was part of Farmington's state champion 4x400m relay team. He comes back this season with big expectations and the chance to break into the top ten 400m and 800m marks of all-time in Minnesota. Currently, he sits 19th all-time in the 400m with 47.79 being the time to beat to break into the top ten all-time and 26th all-time in the 800m with 1:51.06 being the time to beat to break into the top ten all-time. 

Ayoub's time this past spring was #97 in the U.S. for the 400m and #61 for the 800m. Among returners nationally this coming outdoor season, he ranks #32 in the 400m and #20 for the 800m.
