Zach Mellon (800m)
Only two runners in state history end up in the top 15 times of the 800m all-time list, Zach Mellon and AJ Green. Here we give the edge to Mellon because he is the state record holder in the 800m, and all three of his best times eclipse the best that Green ever put up. Mellon holds 3 of the top 7 times of all-time in Minnesota. Green, Mellon, and Trent Riter are the only three guys in state history to run under 1:50 more than once.
