Most Dominant MN Boys Track and Field Athletes of All-Time

Joe Klecker (3200m)

Incredibly only two guys in state history have run the 3200m under 9:00 more than once, those two being Mike Torchia and Joe Klecker. Klecker is the owner of 3 of the top 4 3200m marks in state history, including the top mark of all time. Incredibly he ran those three marks all within the span of 5 weeks in 2015 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, the Section 6AA championships, and the 2015 state track and field meet.

Of note, Mike Torchia, Elliott Heath, Rob Finnerty, and Hassan Mead all have high school 2-mile times that convert to faster than Joe Klecker's 3200m state record.
