Future Stars: 2022 Minnesota Boys and Girls On the Rise

Emma Kvant, Saint-Michael Albertville High School
Class of 2026

---

It seems that STMA is just filled to the brim with young talented girls track and field athletes. Kvant is just the latest in a line of record-setting girls from STMA.

At the Lake Conference Championships, Kvant contributed to a STMA girls team that won the Lake Conference title by only 1 point over the Minnetonka girls. Kvant ran in the 200m and 400m, setting a new personal best and STMA school record in the 400m with a time of 57.61.

Kvant's time of 57.61 in the 400m, placed her 2nd overall at the Lake Conference Championships. More importantly, though, it's one of the fastest times by a Minnesota 8th grade girl all-time.
