Jordyn Borsch of Maple Grove High School was named the Minnesota girls recipient of the Gatorade Minnesota Track and Field Player of the Year award.

Borsch swept the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dash at the Class 3A state championship meet this past season, helping Maple Grove to a fourth place finish as a team. Borsch set a state record in the 400 earlier in the season with a time of 53.47, which ranked No. 15 nationally among girls prep competitors at the time of her selection. She went unbeaten in 35 individual races across her three sprint events throughout the season.

Borsch ends her Minnesota high school career as one of the best sprinters in state history, ranking #1 in the 400m, #6 in the 200m, and #8 in the 100m all-time. Borsch ends her career as a five-time MSHSL state champion, winning all five titles in 2022 and 2023.

Borsch is committed to run track and field at Notre Dame.
