Emma Kvant Goes Sub-54 at Lake Conference

At the Lake Conference Championships, sophomore star Emma Kvant broke another barrier this season in running a time of 53.99 for the 400m. This makes her just the 3rd girl in Minnesota history to so under 54 seconds for the event, after Jordyn Borsch and Honour Finley. She also now ranks 32nd nationally this season and 9th in her class nationally. She also ranks tied for 91st all-time for sophomore girls in the 400m.

Addyson White Dips Under 43-Seconds...Again

Dipping under that elusive 43-second barrier for the first time in the 300m hurdles was Prior Lake senior Addyson White. At the South Suburban Conference Championships, White set a new PR of 42.87 seconds, setting a 0.02 second PR. This moved White from 8th all-time up to 7th. This makes her just one of five Minnesota girls to run under 43-seconds more than once.

Gracie Morris Enters the Top-Ten All-Time

Perham sophomore Gracie Morris entered the top-ten pole vault marks of all-time in Minnesota with a jump of 12' 4" at the Heart of Lakes Conference Championship. This was a 1-inch PR for Morris, but that 1-inch moved her into a tie for 10th all-time in Minnesota for the pole vault. Her mark of 12' 4" also ranks her 4th all-time for Minnesota sophomore girls, behind Julia Fixsen, Stacie Manuel and Adrianna Jacobs.

Ellie Sosa Produces Historic TJ Mark

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton freshman Ellie Sosa dominated at the Heart of Lakes Conference Championships, producing wins in the long jump and triple jump, plus a 2nd place finish in the 200m dash. Her result in the triple jump was of most importance, as her mark of 38' 1.25" ranks #4 all-time for freshman girls in Minnesota, ranks #2 in Minnesota this season, and ranks 6th for her class nationally this outdoor season.

Isabel Mahoney Inches Closer to Class Record

Monticello standout Isabel Mahoney inched closer to the top of the sophomore class record book for the 3200m at the Mississippi 8 Conference Championships, where she notched another win in the 3200m this season, this time with a time of 10:38.02. In the process, she moved from 26th all-time, up to 10th all time with a almost 10 second PR. In moving herself into the top-ten all-time, she joined some elite company with some of the best girls distance runners in state history.
