Wayzata
Wayzata returns 2 of their scoring 7 runners that led them to a State Championship at last years State Meet. Those two returners are Andrew Brandt, who finished 22nd, and Luke Sharpe, who placed 54th. But it is Grant Price who will be the key to this team defending their State Championship; before getting injured he was looking as if he would compete for the individual title last fall. If he is healthy and returns to form, he will provide them with a yet another runner capable of competing for the individual title like past winners Josh Thorson, Connor Olson, Jaret Carpenter, and Khalid Hussein. Despite Wayzata losing a lot of senior leadership from last year's team, they still have the best depth in Minnesota to keep them in contention for a State title - eleven of their returning runners broke 17:00 last season.
