Acer Iverson, Roseville (MN)
Acer Iverson of Minnesota had come into the season as the biggest name to watch in Minnesota, and while he had a great season, a few losses to runners like Max Manley, Andrew Brandt, and Addison Stansbury resulted in him becoming a bit of an underdog at the MSHSL State Meet. His most notable race during the season to that point had been his runner-up finish to Max Manley at the Roy Griak Invite. However, he ended up taking an impressive win at State with a time of 15:14, the fastest time for a Minnesota runner this year and seventeen seconds better than his time at the same meet a year prior. If Iverson is on don't be surprised to see him finish in the top three at Regionals on Sunday. He ran a strong race last year at NXR with a time of 15:04 to earn a bid to go to NXN, and went of to run 16:16 out at Nationals.
