Who Won Sections Week? AJ Green Is The Nation's Best

Before AJ Green ran his 800m final race at the Section 3AA Championships for Eastview last week, no high school athlete in the nation had run the 800m faster than 1:50 this year. But the defending State Champion, who already owned one of the nation's best times thanks to a performance of 1:51.17 in April, leaped onto the national radar with the fifth-fastest 800m time in state history of 1:49.83. His performance not only sets him up to defend his Class AA championship, but perhaps may have some talking about a national championship too.
