Jacob Bright will come into 2019 as one of the more experienced seniors in Minnesota at the State Meet level. His XC PR of 16:02.60 ranks sixth among returners and he has posted back to back top 10 results at St. Olaf and four straight state meet appearances. Bright has been the Section 6A XC runner-up the last three seasons, including placing behind Emmet Anderson the last two years. On the track his 3200m results took a big leap forward with multiple sub 10-minute 3200m performances this spring including a PR of 9:50.69 to finish third behind Brandon O'Hara and Anderson at the highly-competitive 6A section meet.
