Brandon O'Hara, Perham, Sr.
Perham has had no shortage of great runners in the past 20 years, and last year Brandon O'Hara established himself as their best since Billy Beseman graduated in 2015. O'Hara followed up his cross country season (where he finished fourth at State) with a track season that saw him finish 2nd in the 3200m and 5th in the 1600m. In particular, O'Hara developed a lot as a frontrunner and began winning his races a lot more often (he only failed to win one 1600m and one 3200m race in the regular season in track), after only winning four races in XC. As an incoming senior, O'Hara is perhaps the best bet to beat Uhrbom come the State XC meet if he continues improving at the rate he's shown in the past.
