Harris Anderson seemed poised for a huge breakout season last year in XC, finishing a remarkable 16th at the Roy Griak Invitational Gold race on September 29th after a strong start. Unfortunately, injuries prevented him from running again until Sections, but even after missing nearly a month, Anderson managed a 20th-place finish at State. In track, he finished on the podium in the 3200m for the second consecutive year and just missed qualifying for State in the 1600m. While he admitted his track season didn't quite live up to the level he had hoped, he has a very strong track record and should be one of the top runners in Class A once again as a senior.
