Coming into this season we at MileSplit Minnesota had high expectations for Ramy Ayoub knowing that he had a PRs of 48.13 in the 400m and 1:52.54 in the 800m. Based on his previous PRs, his senior season was to be one for the ages. So how has he stacked up against the pressure?
Very very well!
Ayoub has smashed records this season, exceeded his personal bests, and has put up some historic times! This season already, he has PR'd in the 200m, 400m, and 800m, broke the South Suburban Conference 400m and 800m records and has set the Farmington 200m school record (and broken his own 400m + 800m records).
His times of 47.55 in the 400m and 1:51.96 in the 800m are the top times in Minnesota this season, and his 200m time of 21.76 ranks him 2nd overall. All great times for a runner that has expanded his speed down to the 200m dash, but how does it rank historically among all Minnesota high school boys runners ever?
