Ramy Ayoub was named the 2021-22 Gatorade Minnesota Boys Track and Field Player of the Year on Wednesday following the official release of all state-by-state recipients.
The University of Minnesota bound Ayoub put together a remarkable spring campaign for Farmington High School that included his first state title in the 400m for Class AAA.

Ayoub ran some of Minnesota's fastest times all-time this year in the 200m, 400m, and 800m. See his ranks all-time for Minnesota boys below:

Overall, Ayoub won 14 races this season, including going undefeated in the 400m across all competitions this year in Minnesota. He also broke a meet record at the Class AAA state meet in the 400-meter dash this past season and his record-setting time of 47.34 seconds ranked No. 51 nationally among prep competitors in 2022 at the time of his selection.
Ayoub's best 800-meter run mark of 1:51.96 at the South Suburban Conference Championship meet ranked No. 58 in the country this spring.
