The 2023 MSHSL State Track and Field Championships is finally here. This is the meet everyone has been working towards all season and now is the time for all the qualifiers to put out their best in their pursuit of a state title.
In the pursuit of their state titles, this year's crop of state qualifiers will also be chasing history against those standout athletes that have competed at previous state meets and set some of the all-time best marks/times.
Here we look at who holds the top marks/times in state meet history.
With the move to a three-class tournament in 2022, new records were established in Class AA. Class A records remained the same and Class
AA records through 2021 were converted to Class AAA records.
