The reigning girls Class A champions will begin 2017 as hosts to the Fairmont Early Bird, where they face an instant challenge with Stewartville. Check out our preview of this matchup and other exciting battles!
The Minnesota State High School League Track and Field State Tournament will be hosted at Klas Field on the Hamline University campus on June 10-11, 2011. On June 10th the meet will begin with the Class AA 3200 race, followed by preliminary heats in several events. Field events will also begin at 9am. The Class A athletes will take the field at 3pm closing with the finals in the 3200 meter run at 4:50 pm (girls) and 5:05 pm (boys). This also marks the first MSHSL State Track and Field Meet with wheelchair events. Below is a quick preview into each event by class.

Waseca hosted a seven-team track and field meet Friday with area schools NRHEG and WEM both competing. The Jays won both divisions, combining for 16 wins. (via www.wasecacountynews.com)
