Saint Paul Central senior Harlow Tong continued his strong season today with a record-breaking performance at the USATF Minnesota All-Comers #4 meet in the 200m, running a time of 22.05. This is the second state record that has been broken this indoor season after Dwyne Smith Jr. broke the state indoor record for the 400m.
It was a close race the whole way through with, Tong and Juriad Hughes Jr. pulling away from the pack to finish 1st and second, with Tong breaking the state record and Hughes recording the #4 time all-time in Minnesota.
Tongs time of 22.05 currently ranks tied for the 66th best time nationally this season and one of the ten best times from the Midwest region this season.
