Taking ninth in the state last season, Jacob Bright is going to be an athlete to keep tabs on when it comes to the best runners in the state. Bright is a highly experienced individual when it comes to competing at State Meets during Cross, as he has ran there every year since his 8th grade season. Bright's PR comes during his Freshman season at Nike Heartland, running 16:08, but still came very close to that this past season, running 16:11 at Nike. Despite not having many track times clocked this past season, Bright deserves to be put among the best returners in the state with his credentials that he has on XC courses in his career. If he is healthy, Bright will definitely be back up near the top of Class A this season.
