Records have been dropping all over the place in 2023 and Minnetonka junior Claire Kohler wanted to join the party setting a new 100m hurdles record with a time of 13.80 at the MSHSL State Track and Field Championships.
It was a blistering race with the top five girls finishers recording top-20 times all-time for the 100m hurdles.

Both Kohler and Martinson recorded top three times all-time for Minnesota girls and are among the fastest females nationally for 2023.

Kohler finishes the 2023 Minnesota track and field season with an undefeated record in the 100m hurdles, winning 11 100m hurdles overall.
Kohler joins a group of new state record holders which includes Hayden Bills (Shot Put), the Wayzata girls 4x800m team, the Lakeville North boys 4x800m team, numerous records from Adaylia Borgmeier and Tyler Gunnarson, and Jordyn Borsch and the 400m record.
