There is a new #1 in town! The Stewartville ladies had a great week at the St. Charles Invitational, adding to the great season they've experienced, and they are the coaches poll's new top-ranked Class A girls team.
While the team battles looked like they would be close before the meet started, Saint Thomas Academy and the Rochester Century girls had different plans, going on to win in commanding fashion.
Any one of six boys teams could come out with the win in the Jaguar Challenge and the individual race is just as open, while the girls race features a hometown favorite and an All-State talent.
Esko High School leaped onto everyone radar with a runner-up finish at the Milaca Mega Meet, and as a result have jumped into the top five for Class A teams. Check out the rest of the rankings here!

Mayer Lutheran boys and Belle Plaine girls take the top spot in the Minnesota River Conference Championships.
Section 4A Girls Results: Holy Family and The Blake School Teams Book a trip to Northfield/Flanagan and Eastman Run Sub-15 Clare Flanagan of The Blake School breaks away at the half way point running a 14:42 on a cold windy day and soggy course. Molly Eastman of Holy Family Catholic appeared to be closing the gap in the last 800 finishing second with a time of 14:53.
