Two eighth place finishes in the 3200m and a tenth place finish in cross country after just completing her eighth grade year shows that Molly Moening has a lot of room to improve amongst this field. Moening also has strength from her participation in Nordic skiing. It's crazy to say that her 11:01.84 personal best is far behind a lot of the other girl's personal bests in the field as that is a solid time for an eighth grader. Even without her personal best stacking up against the field, she has proved herself numerous times as she has gathered her 3 top-10 finishes at State Meets. Her impressive resume should continue to grow as she returns for another season of cross country.
