Grace Dickel, Minneapolis Washburn, Sr
Grace Dickel might not be a name that you have heard a lot before, mostly thanks to the prolific performances of her teammate, but she should be one that you are looking out for. She trains alongside Covert which helped her to a third place finish in the 3200m at the 2018 State Track & Field meet. She improved her 3200m time by 38 seconds this season, and showed impressive consistency by breaking 11:00 six times, something that she had never done before this season. After a 13th place finish at last year's State Cross Country Meet, followed by such improvement during the track season, it would be surprising if she wasn't towards the front of the pack this year.
