Ten Class AA Girls Squads With The Biggest Potential

Saint Michael-Albertville

Saint Michael-Albertville has been finding their footing with a young, talented team, and last year they really broke out. Most auspicious for the 2018 season is the fact that STMA returns all seven of their scorers from their third place finish at State in 2017. All of these girls will return to the courses they ran last year having gained experience that can only benefit them. Like last year, the Knights looks like the favorite to win both the Mississippi Eight Conference and Section 5AA. Led by freshman Ali Weimer, who returns Class AA's 6th best time, and six-time All-State senior Annalise Davis, who's fresh off a stellar track season, Saint Michael-Albertville is in the position to impress a lot of people, and maybe even challenge for an NXN berth.
