The Skinny: Holy Angels has three of the top seven fastest returners and could earn a comfortable win if their projected top five performs up to ability. The race for second between DeLeSalle and St Anthony Village could be fun to watch as nearly every position could be the difference. Holy Angels senior Jack Peschel should be the top athlete in the field with a PR 45 seconds better than anyone else and aims to reach the state meet in his final season.

The Skinny: The projection has Visitation with the top three fastest returners but St Anthony Village has the next four on the list so it figures to be a two-way battle for between those two squads. Visitation junior Maragaret Dalseth has a PR under 19 minutes and a win here could be a launch pad to bigger things this season.
