RECAP: Buffalo took the team title with their top five in the top 20 scorers in a 16:47 average. Mankato East was 20 points back in second place after running just behind the Bison in all but the second scoring positions. Chanhassen came up short of a team state meet berth but did claim three individual spots led by now two time section champ senior Nick Scheller who finished 23 seconds ahead of senior teammate Zach Long. Scheller's winning time is the second best in class AA this season.

RECAP: Eastview and Prior Lake battled it out with the Lightning earning a three point win. Runner-up Prior Lake was just seven points ahead of third place Eagan in a tight three-way team race. No. 8 ranked Eastview was led by individual section champ and no. 4 ranked AJ Green who won by 11 seconds in a new class AA season leading 15:33.9 over no. 8 ranked Prior Lake junior Gabe Smit. With Green's fast result, Eastview averaged an outstanding 16:13 over a 57 second split and placed their scoring five in the top 20.

RECAP: No. 3 White Bear Lake took a hard fought four point win over no. 6 St Paul Highland Park on the strength of a 32 second 1-5 split that overcame the Scots slightly faster 16:20 average sparked by Paleen's new career PR. Highland overcame no. 4 ranked Stillwater who was third but still had four individuals finish in state meet qualifying spots.

RECAP: One of the state's best flex its muscle as no. 2 Mounds View ran the first sub-16 minute team average in Minnesota this season, winning 5AA with just 23 points and all five scorers in the top nine. Maple Grove was solid in second with a 16:33 average in a 64 second split. Mounds View ran in the top three individual positions led by senior Finn Sokolowski pulling fellow seniors Alec Nelson and Will Sacay under 16 minutes. Sokolowski's 15:41 is fifth best in class AA this season.

RECAP: Eden Prairie validated the coaches vote that moved them to no. 1 in Class AA last week with a strong win over one of the state's best sectional fields. The Eagles, rejuvenated by the continued return to form of senior Jake Derouin, posted a 47 point victory with an impressive 39 point score. They averaged a 16:22 over a narrow 42 second split. No. 5 Edina turned in a quality performance to earn the second section bid to state with a 16:48 average over 60 second split led by senior Russell Gokemeijer running fifth overall.

RECAP: No. 12 Willmar game through in a tight win over Bemidji to win the 8AA section title. The Cardinals seven point win was keyed by the individual win of junior Fuad Bashir. Head to head Willmar's 44 second split was better than Bemidji's 53 seconds and they averaged 16:50 vs the Lumberjacks 16:55. Both teams took six of the top ten individual positions with the key difference coming in the final spot scoring position where the Cardinals had a nine point advantage that earned them the win.
